Together Again?

A poem

Together

We fell apart

Maybe apart

We’ll find a way to be together

Our eyes abandoned each other

With lonely precision

A battle was fought for hearts

Neither side won

Two loving souls

Back alone after months

Is there such a thing as bad timing

Only time will tell

Two individuals with hearts

Imprisoned in ex-lover cells

The grasp for each other

Still strong

Miles apart

Love’s just as long

They sit with another

Heart’s detached

Are they meant to be

Or blocking another’s loves path

Life’s not a fairy-tale

Love doesn’t always find its way back

Luck plays its part

And you listen to your heart

Maybe two separated loves

Can find themselves together again
