Toast and Beans
A humble feast, a plate so plain,
Yet warm and comforting all the same.
Golden toast, its edges crisp,
The perfect base for a hearty twist.
Baked beans bubble, rich and sweet,
A tangy hug in every heat.
Molten sauce, a ruby flood,
Bathes the bread in its savory mud.
A quiet joy, no grand displays,
Just toast and beans to fill the days.
Eat them fast, eat them slow,
With the wind they give you, go,go,go
