I want an adventure

or nothing at all

Somethings that's different;

Make me enthralled

Take me to task

on my greatest threats

Let me run fearless;

Life lacking regrets

Show me the wonder

so often missed

Embraced with the feeling of

"Never been kissed"

Let vibrancy color

my black and white world

In flatlands and wastelands

let beauty unfurl

Awaken desire

when I am asleep

Bring laughter and joy

to my tears and defeat

Indifference infects me

Please cut it away

Apathy haunts me,

Pray, part it today

I challenge you darling,

Can you make me crave

things that I lack

with increasing waves?

Pour me a glass

of fire, my dear

To melt all my ice

And burn up my fears

love poems

About the Creator

Kt

I embarked to my favorite coastline several years ago in search of feeling in a dark season and accdientally wrote a poem. I have written ever since.

Poetry is what my friends know me for, but words burn in my bones.
