Dear younger me, with eyes so bright,
Innocence wrapped in pure delight.
You dreamed in colors, wild and free,
A world untouched by harsh reality.
Chased the stars with hopes unseen.
The future vast, the skies so blue.
You loved with all your tender heart,
No shadows yet to cloud your day.
If I could whisper to that child,
I’d say, “Keep dreaming, stay so wild.”
For in your joy, I still find light,
A younger me, still shining bright.
