To the sea,

He heard the siren whisper

His arms drawn open like a sail

The breathe stole away

from their soft kiss

Drift him further,

into the depth of her ocean

Most tire of the journey to her heart

Too cold they whimper,

Unable to withstand the glacial ice of her depthless soul

For it freezes

Bites

And chatters

Stops the faint of heart in their tracks

Though he does not crack,

His faith,

Allows him float on his back

Towards her,

“Jump”

He braves the high tides of her

For she is no iceberg, he whispers

She is vast,

Unruly

Crashes down on him

And sustains life

He doesn’t fill her with poisons promises

He simply wades in her heart

For she is a volcano
