Lure me in,
for passion isn't intimidating.
Eternity is a gaiety.
The coast thrives in reclusive tones,
as do I.
Warnings are futile to resist when you are in despair.
This mocks the truth because leaning into imminence only results in more
despair.
Accosted by the wiry assassin,
the lain prey begrudgingly stops.
He infiltrated the birch without remorse.
He's ruthless like a canker.
Heaps of memories seep in corrosive debris.
Deception crashes in my peripheral sight.
In desperation, a coarse remedy is accepted.
Even by the most incredulous of neighbors.
