How can I say I know
when it is unknown what knowing means?
It's a world full of created mysteries,
Fact is based on what it seems.
*
They say imagination
has no limit to its might.
But, then, can you imagine a world
without the concept of sight?
*
"I think, therefore I am,"
He said so many years ago.
But how can I prove this is ain't a dream
in which I strive to grow?
*
I feel every emotion so,
from joy to shock to pain.
But if I connect it to a source
it feels felt in vain.
*
What in heaven's name
hurts in there anyway?
What is this mind that thinks?
What is this night and day?
*
Why do I chase after life
and quiver under death's glare?
if I don't know what life is;
or why I even hold it dear?
*
Why does every tinge of love
send warmth pumping through my veins?
Why do I smile in the sun,
and cry along when it rains?
*
They talk about connection,
and feeling your inner core.
But what is this damn YOU,
that is always seeking more?
*
I run, I chase, I want,
desire getting the better of me.
For lack of understanding,
I may just let it all be.
*
Is it worth living in a world
that I cannot understand?
I cannot grasp the waves at sea
or break the nature of the land.
*
What hope do I have
if I know that no one ever learns
the truth behind this world
and all that it discerns?
*
Why fight through blood and battle
to win a war above my mind?
What is this relief I feel
after I lose, seek and find?
*
Why do I even still believe
that there's a world of eternal souls?

This one made me think. Such deep questions. Love it .
Wow that was so philosophical and so well put down. When do you have the time to sit and think about this...
Those were very deep questions and was certainly very thought provoking. Loved your poem
