To My Unborn Child

A poem I wrote while grieving

By Chloe Rose Violet 🌹Published 12 months ago • Updated 12 months ago • 1 min read

To the baby I never got to meet,

I love you.

I may not have held you, but I'll spend a lifetime loving you.

Though I lost you, you never knew pain.

You never knew suffering.

You never experienced hunger.

All you knew was love.

I may shed many tears in the months of grieving you.

Who you were.

Who you could have been.

But I know we have one hell of a guardian angel watching over our family,

My sweet little angel.

Mommy and Daddy love you.
