To My Subscribers: Exclusive Stories
Let's talk about this new offering
Hi, Beloved Readers!
It's not often that we get to sit down and chat like this. I normally throw surrealism and numerous thanks your way!
Before I decide myself, I really wanted to ask your opinions:
Are exclusive stories something you'd want to see from me?
For those unfamiliar, Vocal just launched a feature where if you pay a creator $3 a month, you get access to exclusive stories they post.
If this is something you're interested in, I'd love to hear what you all would want from me for that extra $3!
The main ideas I have so far are:
<> spoken word performances
(click 'Video on Facebook' for my performance of "Fate")
<> poems based on requested prompts
<> short interviews and vlogs with me (featuring Muchtar Suryawan as the interviewer and vlog partner!)
<> short stories
My goal is for exclusive stories to not solely be my poetry content, but also content such as videos that feature myself (and my pets!) as a way for you to get to know me better as my supporters and online family. So please put any ideas and/or your thoughts below! I'd love to hear them.
Also, please don't worry, this won't affect my regular FREE postings! ;)
After all, if you didn't exist, I wouldn't have the success as a poet that I do.

I took my son and niece to Gori, a small town in Georgia where Joseph Stalin was born. They talked me into visiting the Stalin's Museum, the largest in the post-Soviet space. I had resisted going there because I just can't stand the monster and know enough about him, or so I thought.

I have one pledge from someone stateside for 2.99 a month, of that, I get perhaps, 2.30 if that. I do not see the benefit since we have no advertising and no one I know has heard of Vocal. Media unless I tell them. I will not provide exclusive content on Vocal unless they take on the responsibility of bringing in more readers. It is their job to bring our community into the forefront of the online writer's community, not ours. We pay to be members of Vocal+ and it should be enough to get their team to promote us. With that said, I really love the community as a whole and am hanging tight. It's just not my thing. I am not alone in my opinion. Vocal staff must push for readers for us all. I hope your content doesn't go exclusive as I will miss reading your incredible writing.
So personally I can’t afford exclusive content. That said, I wish you the best and I genuinely love your work. ❤️
