Oh, radiant orbs - Kannamma divine,
Are they celestial orbs that brightly shine?
Ebon pools that grace your gaze,
Like the heavens on twilight's haze.
Stars bedecking your midnight drape,
In ebony silk, a constellation's cape.
Does your smile rival blossoms' grace,
Amidst the garden's vibrant embrace?
Your thoughts, an ocean deep and blue,
With waves that dance in every hue.
The cuckoo's song, so pure and clear,
Is but a whisper of your voice, my dear.
Innocence blooms like morning dew,
Kannamma, my heart belongs to you.
Traditions spoken, you gently chide,
Yet who needs norms when love's the guide?
For time may come to seal our fate,
When elders smile upon our union's date.
But oh, the ache, the longing's pain,
How can I bear the waiting chain?
Let me steal a moment sweet,
A kiss upon your cheek to greet.
