That's how many subscribers I currently have, and that just blows me away.
I don't write anything to get likes, comments or subscribers so I'm very humbled that 140 people want to read my writing. I don't write to get top stories, and to me writing is like therapy for the heart, mind and soul.
Not so long ago, a fellow writer wrote that she had to wade through five pages of AI -generated writing to finally find my one non-AI piece of writing, so I would just like to say thank you to everyone for digging to find what I write, and then appreciating it. I try to capture feelings, so I am always learning new words, and I regularly look up their meanings so that I can use them in my writing.
I'm just me. I don't pretend to be anyone other than me. I put my real name on here because I'm just me.
I write to release. I write to inspire, and sometimes it's to inspire my own self... I am just your average Joe, complete with flaws and insecurities like everyone else. I think we're so used to people smiling and faking their happiness on social media that we really think that they are happier than the rest of us are, when in reality they may cry themselves to sleep every night. Don't worry folks, I identify with you in many ways in a perfectly imperfect way - no perfection happening over here. Just me, a constant overthinker who drinks probably too much coffee.
All that to say that I love you guys, I'm trying to read everybody's work and get better at leaving my feedback. Just keep writing from your heart and creating those beautiful connections through words.

When Big Bands Played on every station 📻
When big bands ruled the world, with live broadcast each night. A slow world. A sentimental world. A world that believed in God. In LOVE. A world after the war that appreciated the small things, the community and most importantly family above all else. What a beautiful world that was of values. If we could only add progression to old school morality then maybe one would have less suffering. A book I read often from the 1950 states “if suffering made the world wise, a wise world it would be” after the world wars what a wise world we were becoming. If progression could meet slowness, like the Italian say “the art of doing nothing” what a peaceful world we would have. Big Bands brought in peace in a time the world didn’t know the end, each night the news goes off, did a love one die? Is your family now just a Jayne or Joe doe somewhere out there? Well forget your troubles we are all in this together- here is Glenn Miller and his Big Bands singing it’s a blue world, the moonlight serenade begins for a hour where you forget your troubles and melt in with the big band. Once the war was over those late night broadcasts became coming home dances. For a moment to me that was a beautiful world. Radio Days. Glenn miller and his orchestra playing live lifting spirits. A beautiful world that must had been for that moment. To be alive and to be appreciative of every second God Has given you.

This is a story from your heart. I also write everything. I only utilize AI for my stock footage and research. I Write everything. I am 75 years old and studying AI as a TOOL. Check out my stories. I WRITE ALL MY CONTENT. I WRITE ALL OF MY SONGS CREATING MUSIC. I WRITE MY OWN STUFF CAUSE I GRADUATED FROM JOURNALISM SCHOOL BEFORE YELLOW JOURNALISM. However, I am not afraid of A.I. I find myself living on a social security of 1216 a month. My writings are my therapy. My therapist actually is the one whom told me to get busy writing. So, if you want to go through my stories and stereotype them as AI THEY ARE NOT. I WRITE FROM MY BRAIN AND MY DREAMS. I HAVE over 20 years 9f musician training and a degree in nursing and business and journalism. I am 75. I write for therapy but as my income is 1216 a month I really need to make more money to pay my bills. So I am a good person honest person but do not stereotype me throw away my writings because I spend hours video editing music and writing and poems, stories and songs. I WRITE MY OWN STUFF. Love your story. Keep spreading the love.
