That, to remain heart and body open takes an iron will.
It takes an incredibly strong woman to be soft. May you recognize that. And treat her as such. Something to be revered.....
And when they tell you-
Woman, be soft
Surrender
Trust
Submit, even
May they remember the ferocity
It takes to be so deconstructed
The way you have teared at your skin and stared monsters,
eye-to-eye
That you are no wallflower
No feinting maiden
Rather, something to be
revered
Something belonging to the
wild.
