Don't tell me you're a millionaire,
I really don't care,
Don't buy me fancy clothes,
They are not my style,
(Eye roll)
Yes;
I know all about your flashy cars,
I don't need them,
They won't win my heart,
And, no!
Being that big celebrity star,
Ah! Ah, Ah-Aah,!
That won't get you a part,
(Screwing my nose up)
I don't need your muscle,
To do the hustle,
Men and women!
I'm asking for a real man or woman
The type with a heart,
Who can light that spark,
Dance and sing with me,
Until we wake the lark,
Someone who knows how to
make me laugh,
Or;
When I feel down,
Can act like a clown,
Someone who tells silly jokes,
Doesn't do spotless,
And;
Is comfortable leaving his/her clothes lying
around,
I want a man or a woman who knows
how to be real;
Because we already live in a sad world
where the only hearts that roam,
They are made of steel.

Enjoyed the carefree nature of this. Well done!
It does take a steel heart to carry on these days, lightheartedness is so needed to break the monotony. Truth in your poetry. Good morning.
