To float
Beyond Time and Behind Stars

Pure
.
Beautiful intangible sounds,
I'm floating over the water,
The glow of the sun is reflected in my eyes,
The sound of the wind is really loud, actually.
But I still can't hold it.
I can't (and don't want to) stop flying.
.
I think that it's sunset now...
I'm not really sure,
I've been here so long all the colors just kinda...
Blend, y'know?
But I'm pretty sure the sun is leaving me.
.
The fish aren't up here with me anymore,
I think they've gone to sleep.
And that's okay, I guess.
I know I'll see them tomorrow.
But you know
What I'm excited for?
.
The sun is long gone,
And the water isn't really a blue anymore.
It's faded into this really weird feeling, The deepest of indigos, an inverse comfort. The same way green holds the sunlight
It's empty. Cold.
And I'm seeing all the big fishies I'm not
The greatest buddies with.
I think I just might float a bit higher above the water.
If I wasn't before, I may now even start to fly.
Really fly.
.
Now I can see the moon! And the stars!
And oh! It's so beautiful!
If the Universe were to go out at this moment,
I would smile at the blue sky for the last time.
But I know the Universe is much too warm for that,
It likes the small fishies too much.
About the Creator
Sabayo Matiku
I express the realities and frequencies that words are carried on, to speak to the heart in a manner that is simple and free. I've come to ruffle feathers and to polish the sky, to laugh and wonder.
