To Be Heard or To Blend In
A small voice with a loud echo
A young mind may be seen by the wise as someone with no experience or knowledge.
One would rather say that it’s easier to blend in than to stick out. Yet if ones stripes are considered beautiful why should they all be the same?
Every individual can have an opinion, but if their opinion doesn’t fit in society’s criteria they’re wrong?
The controversial things that one person can say affects everyone that sets their eyes on the topic.
Would you rather speak or stay quiet?
I am not one to judge for I am young, but I am not uneducated.
As a reader and a writer, I have seen so much from many communities.
You can’t be silenced by every single individual on this earth so even if the ones you love can’t understand your thoughts, there will be one person who listens to you without showing boredom and smile when you show hints of joy as you speak your mind.
If they won’t listen I will.
Talk to yourself if you’re the only person who’ll listen.
You’re not crazy, you’re confused.
You’re scared and that’s okay, because you’re human.
Your voice may be called small, but your echo is loud.
The mark you leave on this earth won’t be hidden.
So stay to make that mark a piece of art.
Not just a trace but a path.
To be heard or to blend in.
