Our love is long overdue,
and I know I linger in your heart.
I cannot bear to be away from you.
From the moment I saw you I knew
that we were fated from the start.
Our love is long overdue.
My passion will remain true,
and our souls will never be apart.
I cannot bear to be away from you.
There is nothing left to do,
no wise words left to impart.
Our love is long overdue.
You are mine and only mine to woo,
until from this plane we depart!
I cannot bear to be away from you!
