I think I made a mistake
Now I want to take a break
But now there’s money at stake
That can’t be waste
Hope to increase my reads, but that was not the case
It didn't even help if I wrote at a steady paste
Zero reads with many comments in my face
Okay something is weird is going on at vocal base
Getting to my goal is a constant chase
I guess giving top story is the way they fix it
But more than an handful of reads is missing
I'm almost 100 stories in
Hope to reach this goal before the year ends.

I too experience the frustration. I recently came off a hiatus from vocal myself. We can all get frustrated. The best advice is 1) Write for yourself first. 2) Interact with others.. comment and like other authors stories. Many will check out the works of those who interact with their own work. Keep plugging away.
