Tired

Those sleepless nights

Of back and forth

Those endless fights

Not giving in to sleep

/

The shadows in the dark

Racing around my mind

haunting my dreams

And still i’m wide awake

/

The clock keeps going

The songs won’t end

Endless counting of the sheep in the fields

Yet rest evades me and the sun comes up

/
