Our minds are constantly under attack by the enemy, who doesn't want us to be at peace or happy and he wants us to blame God for it. Every negative thought is planted, every lie made convincing enough that you may actually believe it. But if you hear it enough times, you will eventually believe it and that's what the enemy's counting on. We were never given fear or depression or anything else negative by God. And every negative thought from the enemy that we get, we need to recognize it right away and kick it out.

Not everyone who is our friend is really our friend. Just like angels sent into our lives, so are others who are meant to disrupt us and bring out our worst to exploit it and cause us to question our walk with God. Or even stray off the path for a pleasurable detour. Be mindful at all times of who you seek and what you speak life into. You don't have to be " religious" to want to protect your mind from dark forces that sow shame and guilt, and in honest reality the Bible is not about religion but about how to keep us safe - mentally, physically and spiritually. We were all given the Holy Spirit and He gave us gifts. Some are teachers, artists, preachers, missionaries, counselors, comforters, prophets( people who see things in the present or future that affect us) discerners (people who can see into someone's heart and identify intent) , healers and prayers. Some of the gifts are for growing and learning and some are for warning and protection. Some people have one gift and some have several gifts, but all are meant to help all, Know that someone around you has the ability to keep you safe, even when you're hell-bent on flirting with danger or not even a Christian. If you're a good person with a good heart who wants to do good, know you're protected- no matter what. But if you're someone who has a not-so-good heart who wants to do not-so-good things to another person, you've already been seen. Your mask is worthless to some. And you're too arrogant to believe it.

Man has twisted the Bible's contents every which way to Sunday, but if you disregard all of the misinterpretations and cherry picking that has led to denominations and religion, it's actually an instruction manual on how to live a healthy and peaceful life.

The time has come for us to stand up, stand out, speak out and take our minds and lives back. Christianity is not a religion even though hundreds of denominations have used it as a base, many of them not even similar to the teachings of Christ. We live in a time when satan is the prince of the world but we were given a toolbox to fight back with. The weapons were created by God and He tells us how to use them in Ephesians 6, a chapter devoted to empowering us to protect ourselves with courage and boldness. Even if you're not a Christian, the Bible is the best book you will ever read. There's a reason it's the #1 selling book of all time, and the most stolen, according to a wise man I know. Clear your mind of all the rubbish you've heard and read about the Bible and pick it up. I guarantee that you will feel something unexpected when you put the world in a tightly sealed jar while you read it. The answers to your questions are all in there. They may be hidden by the cunning enemy to keep the hurt and broken ones from believing that that there IS a way out of situations they find themselves in, but the answers are there. There IS a way out, but it requires cutting the tie that binds you to the darkness stalking you. Be brave.
