A prayer: God, Take what isn't meant for me, and swiftly

I guess I should feel lucky then;

no more precious time wasted.

I'll be glad to be on my way then,

Ain't no use in feeling jaded.

-

This is actually a blessing;

time to reframe it.

God, this wasn't meant for me?

Then please, God, take it.

-

I accept Your will for me.

What is mine, You will give me,

and what ain't for me?

God, take it from me,

and take it from me, swiftly.

-

Ain't no use in cryin';

it won't change a thing.

God, I'm following

wherever you're leading;

I am at your mercy.

-

You can take it, God,

You can have it

and my God, I'm glad for it.
