Everyone says the pain will go away

They say is passes with time.

It seems like forever

since we have had to part.

I miss you touch.

I miss your smell.

I miss your sweet words

and the sound of your eart beat.

I love the way you would look at me

and tell me I was beautiful.

I love when you would wrap me in your arms

not giving a care as to where we were.

I need your protection.

I need the passion back that was between us.

Sleeping in this cold bed

that was once where we both lay.

Time is taking too long.

Too long for the pain to fade away.

I never knew heartbreak

until you left me that fateful day.

I miss cuddling in on winter days

when the days were as cold as ice.

I loved the things you would do for me.

Oh why did you not feel appreciated.

I miss you.

Will this go away with time.
