we’re all guaranteed,
a final breath,
a final heart beat!
we know not when,
we know not where,
we do know,
they’re waiting!!
how to prepare,
for that moment?
can we prepare,
for that moment?
I think we cannot!!
life’s end,
can be sudden,
based on events,
to determine and fashion,
those final moments!!
preparation is without status,
we live each moment,
not knowing,
what the next beholds!!
our journey is,
but a trip into,
the unknown!!
a trip into,
the waiting,
of our arrival!!
we live in life,
we see the present,
we pray for the future!!
time eludes time,
time proceeds in time,
time is our measure,
of what’s to be,
of what has been,
of what we are,
who we are!!!
dare to chance,
what time delivers,
dare to confront,
what time presents,
dare to question,
what time predicts!!
dare not,
to be on time for,
what awaits resolution,
for time,
is now!!!
