The world has stopped, the clock is still

All the people, frozen, not a movement till

But what are they doing, we can only guess

Are they in motion or at complete rest?

An old man with a cane, mid-step in a stroll

A child with a ball, posed to throw his goal

A baker with a tray, bread still in his hand

A bride in white, her veil fanned

A businessman with his briefcase, mid-stride

A dancer with her pose, arms up with pride

A painter with her brush, in the midst of her art

A musician with her instrument, as if playing her part

The world may be frozen, but their actions are real

A moment captured, a frozen reel

Imagine the stories, the secrets they hold

Their frozen poses, stories untold.
