Time Flies

Time flies; the saying is true,

I glance away and pass an hour or two,

Time goes away quicker than it seems,

Not just when having fun or when in a dream,

Time scatters like ashes in the wind,

like the quickness of joyfully committed sin,

Time flies like a child when playing,

Time flies like a preacher when praying,

Time flies too fast, too soon,

Sometimes time brings our death,

Sometimes it comes with joy, or with gloom.

It flies away like birds in the air,

And when time flies, we are never prepared.

About the Creator

Kaitlynn

I love to write because I believe in the bravery of putting out works to inspire. But more importantly, I believe in the bravery it takes to speak up for those whose stories deserve to be heard and truths that must be revealed.
