Time

It's time

By MitchelPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Seems like to me one morning everything had changed.

Seems like to me one morning everything had changed.

boards were on windows, gas fumes were looming, and personalities were quickly becoming strange.

Neighbors, children, and stray animals laying in the street.

Cars were totalled there was a cop car hanging in the trees.

It's been months in quarantine not allowed to go anywhere.

I never got the chance to tell her, I'm sure she was aware.

I have this gift a picture of her and I.

I know she will love it but even more the promise with it proclaiming it's time.

We had so much time before.

I Took for granted there was always tomorrow and so much more.

I was so frustrated.

Now it's the only thing that matters after everyone was forced inside to be isolated.

Told I can't have her and can't go there.

I've been told that before and I still did and I didn't care.

All that time not being with her its tearing me apart.

I just want to share my right now with her and it's breaking my heart.

I'm anxious shifting back and forth my hand in my pocket.

I've missed her I can't wait to see her face when she opens this heart shaped locket.

The picture inside I remember that day

Every thing was perfect or atleast it felt that way.
