Till Forever

I Miss You

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished about a year ago 1 min read

I will love you for the rest of my life

Though, you won’t be here to know it

You made your way through to the other side

You said, love, it’s my time to go

Life goes on, they say, it’s just what it does

Left me broken and completely changed

The sun may keep rising, but I’ll miss you because -

The world just isn’t the same

So, rest easy, I’m learning how to go on

You loved me so well, I know that I”ll be okay

We’ll meet again, because, forever waits

So, until then, I’ll be counting the days
