Through With You

You did it again -

You put your foot

Right up into your mouth.

These bitter thoughts,

And harsher words -

They keep us divided.

I try so hard.

Truly, I do,

But I can’t let this go.

These boundaries,

Don't work for me.

Before I can accept,

Your promises,

Your vows (your lies),

I just have to tell you -

It can’t happen,

Ever again.

I stand ready to leave.

Your promises -

They mean nothing.

I know you’re lying, now.

And there you go again,

Feet in your mouth -

Bitter thoughts,

Harsher words -

They’re tearing us apart.

You don’t care though,

Do you at all?

Really, I don’t either.

Not anymore.

There's nothing left.

So, please don't even try.

Truthfully, love -

I'm through with you.
