The night is long, the road is steep, with each step we take, the ground gives way, A whispered doubt, a sky so grey.

The storm is fierce, the winds unkind,

The echoes shout inside our minds.

They tell us, Stop, they scream, Give in,

That hope is weak, that we won’t win.

But even in the darkest night,

A distant star still holds its light.

And somewhere deep within the pain,

A spark survives a small, bright flame.

We do not break, though bent so low,

We do not drown, though waters flow.

For every scar on our skin

Marks where we’ve fought and fought to win.

The world may call us lost, alone,

A weary heart, a hollowed bone.

But pain has carved a wiser soul,

A fire-forged from burning coal.

We once saw chains—now see the steel, The strength that hardship made us feel.

We once saw wounds—now see the proof. That we are more than fear so validate our truth.

The path was never meant to be

A gentle road, an easy sea.

Yet in the breaking, in the fall,

We learned to stand; we learned to call.

The cries, once filled with bitter ache,

Now speak of will that does not break.

The fear once locked behind our eyes

Now fuels the fire that never dies.

And though the world may shake and groan,

Though storms may rage, though winds may moan,

We rise, unbowed, unchained, unshaken,

A soul reborn, a will awakened.

For one day soon, these wounds will fade,

The weight we bore, the price we paid.

Not as a defeat but as proof we stood,

And in the fire, we found the good.

The ones who saw us lost in the fight

We will one day see our shining light.

The ones who whispered, You will fall,

Will watch us standing, proud and tall.

For every challenge, every scar,

It has shaped the warrior that we are.

And though the road is long and wide,

We walk it now with a steady stride.

The night will end, the sun will rise,

And in its warmth, we’ll realize:

What once was pain now fuels our might,

What once was dark now births our light.

Yet, rising does not erase

The weight we’ve felt, the trials we face.

We do not chase a perfect dream,

Nor paint our past in golden gleam.

We learn to hold both loss and gain,

To sit with joy, to sit with pain.

To know that strength is not just fighting—

It’s choosing rest; it’s seeking light.

We find the tools that help us grow—

A mindful breath, a slower pace.

A moment’s pause to check our view,

To ask ourselves what may be true.

Not every thought must shape our way,

Not every cloud can steal the day.

Perspective shifts with time and space—

We find our power in embrace.

Embrace of flaws, embrace of doubt,

A knowing strength that lives throughout.

A middle ground where we can stand,

Not bound by fate or false command.

Show yourself the grace you need,

There is no rush to heal, no race to speed.

Meet yourself where you are today,

Hold space for grief, for hope, for grey.

Take the time to breathe and rest,

To name the weight upon your chest.

A walk, a song, a quiet night,

A friend who listens without a fight.

Give yourself the room to be—

Not only strong, not only free.

But fully human, flawed, and wise,

With tired feet and steady eyes.

So, step by step, we walk ahead,

Not drowning in the words unsaid.

Not lost in hope, nor trapped in fear,

But moving forward, bold and clear.

Balance does not come from extremes,

Not endless hope nor shattered dreams.

But in the trust that we will cope,

That strength is built in honest hope.

And though the storms may call again,

And though we’ll face the winds and rain,

We’ll know the weight, we’ll know the cost,

And now we rise—not won, not lost.
