Through the Crystal Screen
A prayer for strangers in pain
By H.M.WardenPublished 8 months ago • 1 min read

I see you.
Hearts open,
arms outstretched.
For good, for grief,
for vengeance, for revival
for another life.
You beg,
and I am listening.
I see you there,
I reached out too,
from the other side
of this crystal screen.
It is all I can do.
We are both helpless.
But know:
I see you.
Tears fall,
then vanish.
Hope and pleas
enchanted in their mist.
I pray when they rise
and meet the sky,
our gods hear.
Let them set in motion
whatever will bring you peace.
I pray
my tears find you.
