Childhood Snaps

When laughter was a big part

connections were friendly faces

toys were real and meaningful!

colors were cheerful

jumping in the air out of joy

for no reasons

mud-covered, clay-faced appearances at home after games

no worries,

running towards and with the time,

ample in duration, no hurries

childhood was awesome

magnificent vivid

snapped in motions,

so was the life in childish dreams!

although the cherished past is drying up in our memory root

gradually,

tackling adulthood and the ask of life.

*

Eyes on me

Eyes on me

Don’t look at me with those eyes,

I might lose my sense,

forget the reality

and get fainted.

Ah, you are dragging me into the magic

of your deep eyes,

lady.

Hey!

*

Bounced

In utter frustration

I shouted some words

to my luck,

‘You are a total ‘dumb-a**,’

walls echoed; it felt like someone just laughed.
