The man who invented me,

never drove very far.

Now on every corner I now be,

to control the flow of cars.

A red light means you must stop.

A green light lets you go.

Ignore this then a cop,

will ask if the law you know.

Run the red light.

You may have a crash.

This could cause a legal fight,

that will cost you a lot of cash.

Now you have been conditioned,

to respond to a color.

Your mind has given permission,

to be controlled by another.

You must get it in your head,

what do you do when the light is yellow.

Go real fast before it turns red.

Stop to soon then others will bellow.

Strange that red and green,

have an action you must do.

But a Yellow light it seems,

the response is up to you.
