Three and Me

I ask, “What am I?”

You say, “the image of Me

with your own essence.”

I ask, “Who am I?”

You say, “ the one that I’ve loved

long before your birth.”

I ask, “Why am I?”

You say, “ to listen and go,

ever faithfully.”

+++

“ I made this for you,

This beautiful sunset; I

knew you would love it.

+++

You, filled with wonder

and you trust without flinching,

your faith is power.

+++

Once, you doubted Me,

that I even existed,

I had to appear.

+++

You have a purpose,

My name has become your cause,

You are My soldier.

+++

We will win this war,

it’s already been written,

and you are a rock.

+++

You have My shield;

satan knows he has no power

against My Shield’s Light.

+++

Stay strong in the fight

Don’t give up and don’t give in,

You will be tested.”

I say, “ it’s daunting

but I’m made strong, knowing that

it’s the four of us.”
