Those Eyes

Windows to your heart

I’ve been searching for a love as good as gold,

I’ve been looking for someone to love and hold,

I’ve stumbled over heartaches, there have been quite a few,

Little did I know, they were leading me to you.

There’s a magic in your love, you can’t disguise

I pick up on it every time; it’s in those eyes.

I’m mesmerized by the beauty that’s a part of you,

I just want to please you with whatever I can do,

You are the moon across the ocean with its silvery sheen

You’re the flowers in the garden that complement the green.

There’s a magic in your love, you can’t disguise

I pick up on it every time; it’s in those eyes.

Till next time,

Calvin

This is beautiful - your rhyming is fabulous and the word choices excellent. I loved this: "You are the moon across the ocean with its silvery sheen You’re the flowers in the garden that complement the green."
