I feel it all
That life in which heaven's bound
To the seeds of the Earth, mother never found
They twirl and twine
To wrap around my arm
Feel lucid as visions
Threaten to alarm,
The presence that was always there
But stood out of sight
The thorns sigh
Continuing their blight
Eyes go wide, as they find their mark
Burrowing in contrasting, stark.
However those thorns never bothered me
They were always there
They did not scare me
For I was warned of their stare
The presence of thorns
May make you still
But walk through them,
As they cannot kill.
You only thought they could
