A tribute to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy
We see his face on the vast screens
A clarion call to end the war
His charge to keep his people free
As the bombs rain down once more
His words will not be ignored
His voice shall never cease
We hear his strong relentless roar
This lion of democracy!
Through bitter strife and tragedy
The cadence of his words implore
He leads them to their destiny
Their great cause, the fateful corps
These cries shall never be ignored
Duty does indeed shape history
Stands true through this unholy war
This lion of democracy!
He stares in the face of the enemy
And speaks as that ambassador
For freedom, faith's integrity
To a world broken, lost and torn
To this right end he has been sworn
He will not succumb to their defeat
And with his shoulders he has borne
This lion of democracy!
In the face of death, at ruin's door
Look and you will plainly see
The eyes of one who seized the storm
This lion of democracy!

If we fail to support President Volodymyr Zelenskyy through this war to its proper end of Ukrainian continued independence and democracy, the human world itself has failed!
We must endure on the right side of history with him!
