This House Called Home
In this house is the fulfillment of my dreams. In this house love reigns supreme. In the house there is fearlessness. In this house there is no abandonment. In this house lies a true embrace. In this house there is no disgrace. In this house success is the goal. In this house provision fills every bowl. In this house I flourish through great strength. In this house I have worked hard and took great lengths. Yet, no one can measure what I gain. For a home for myself I endured great pain. To be what I dare to be in this world I've roamed. Now I have found happiness in this place I call home.

Pathway Home
Searching for peace in the dome of my mind. Wondering when I will begin the happiness promised as a child. Like a emergency call I begin to dial. To call on God even scream Christ name out loud! To find home a safe place to go! To run somewhere with things of love I know. This place I dream about in night and reached for by day. Only to find hurt and rejection to my dismay. A simple smile or kind gesture brings me to this place. A place of love and acceptance I race. People can be cruel and time seem lost. For what I wasted and tossed. Away on this journey a multitude of things too precious to forget. So I search on to reclaim it. So out of the belly of my thoughts an SOS I send. To return home in the midst of a sincere smile or embrace of a true friend.
