This century

That century and this century

So much has changed

The way of life and the way of things

To know them we study history

Some say things are better then than now

Some say things are better now than then

It will forever be a debate

We will never find the answer

Things have improved over the years

Through this

A lot has been learnt

Economically , socially

Educationally, Medically

Or any field of human activity

The quality of life that we enjoy

Is far superior to that enjoyed by our forefathers

We are definitely luckier than our forefathers

But these young 'uns today

They have a very wild mentality

To change the world drastically

This century and that century

There has been a change

Children of then

A percentage lived in poverty

Teens didn't attend school

They labored to earn a living

With the hope to help their family one day

Because that is how their parents

Were also brought up

But now in our century we live the luxury of lives

Technology and so many others

There has been a change our century and that century
