Thirst for the presidency

A poem about asking for something out of greed

By Kisama Riyo Published about a year ago 2 min read

Step by step towards the future

Where does this group lead us?

Our ship has a captain but

If the wind blows it gets angry

Be kind to those who are touched by the waves

Some of you will not save the shore

Be kind to those who are thrown by the shore

Fear for them if the shore appears

If the fears of determination blow upon them one day

This sea is afflicted with drought

If time astonishes them, they are waiting

A knot in the whirlpool will not come to them

And if the shores fear one day in the sea

No grandson will praise them throughout time

And if the stars of the night promise them a sea

A country will not come to them in the dark

So they will not return to clarity waiting

If they cannot abide by the truth

If the day wears a garment of light

The eye will see a line

And if the star of luck is confused one day

The night of humiliation will strike with darkness

And in the thirst of leadership he lived a wave

And between his ascent to the goal is a stumbling block

And the cloud awaits the land of a century

Then drought mixes with it

And blocks its path when life is scarce

And blesses Its crops when they are abundant with oil

Fingers bitten by poor choice

Vote, will the people come

Do you cut off when you bear false witness

How do you achieve it with effort and justice?!

We want conditions to change for the better

Unity of word guides the comb

And the ambitions of leaders are fire

Its sparks ignite and its downfall increases

And the torment of what they planned

And in it is a point of mismanagement

And they robbed the determination of every people

As if distress is an earring for women
