Thin Hand

~

By Rowan Finley Published about a year ago 1 min read

I rode on the thin hand of the clock,

not the long one, nor the short one.

You know,

the thin one, that twitches, non-stop.

Hanging on tight,

for dear life,

I got the hang of the motion.

Never staying still,

but clutching onto all I ever knew.

Second by second, minute by minute, surviving day to day…..💕

I like the underlying instability of life exhibited in the balance of hanging above…..who knows what?
