They're All Out Of Grace

Things I can't say

By Nicholaus BrownleePublished 6 months ago 1 min read
Just have to take it.

Here I sit waiting,

Here they come hating.

I tell them hello!

They tell me pronto!

I see in their face,

they're all out of grace.

I want to bring joy,

and not to annoy.

To say be happy!

Not to be sappy.

To say what this is,

not a very fast biz.

To give proper sight,

to everyone's plight,

I must be careful,

or it's so dreadful,

to fix my mistakes

to apply the brakes.

Can't you have patience,

when I'm with patients?

Just wait for a bit,

and don't throw a fit.

For are you a child,

Who can not be mild?

I see in their face,

they're all out of grace.

So I sit waiting,

while they come hating.
