Who knew being gaslighted would hurt this bad

Who knew they were lying to me, giving me false hope

I should had saw the smoke

Known the ship was sinking

I guess they didn't want me to feel shame

But its worse now, got the whole family’s hopes up

Maybe I got it, but I should had known it was an short one

I was overtaken by nerves

Next time I do better

It’s a learning curve

Just stop being shy

My first interview could had gone better. But anyway I still have writing. I did use two generated words here. Guess what they are or you can just read the list here:

Oof, this poem hits deep! The struggle with gaslighting and realizing the truth is tough, but there's hope in learning from it. I love the resilience in the end!
