They fell from the sky

by Jeanette Banda

By J BPublished about a year ago 1 min read

I was looking out the window at these fun little things

They fell from the sky

Like tiny birds or wings

I'd never seen anything like it before

Definatley something you couldn't ignore

They hit the window without any force

Some stuck around and others changed their course

All unique in their own special way

Creating a image that the sun would melt away

I put on my coat and opened the door

I had to see it for myself before they hit the floor

My head tilted back and I stuck out my tongue

They gently touched my face not leaving a trace

Remarkably delicate similar to lace

And without a sound, when I looked down

They created a blanket that covered the ground.

For Fun
