They Call Speedy

My nickname is Speedy.

My spirit is generous and not greedy.

See how fast I go through the hallway.

For more company, I sometimes pray.

My nickname, everyone remembers.

Taking my teeth out, I may get the tremors.

I enjoy bingo and singing hymns too,

and there really is lots that I can still do.

Most importantly, I like to make others smile,

because life can be sad and awfully vile.

I may not be the smartest,

but making the best of things, I try my hardest.

So don’t make fun of me, or be a tease,

this is my one humble request, please.
