There Was An Old Lady

Get Runny

By Joseph D HamiltonPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

There was an old lady

Who had a long nose,

So she had to walk funny

Because it hung to her toes

She'd trip and she'd fall

She'd slip and she'd stumble

She'd get all caught up

And then she would tumble

Falling and tripping

Because she`d step on her nose

That great big schnoz of hers

Would get caught on her toes

It was really quite sad

It was not very funny

When she had to run fast

She could only get runny

Until that great day

When the lady got smart

And with the help of her friends

Put her nose on a cart

They helped her to push it

To move it around

To help keep her nose

Up off of the ground

The moral of this tale

Is one I hope that will click

No burden is too heavy

If the right friends, you should pick.
