“There She Was”

01/23/2021

1:30am

There she was burning like autumn fire.

I felt her soul and it sent shivers down my spine.

The heat radiated through me and sparked the strongest desire.

What is this feeling so divine?

I crave every essence of her being.

Her soft luxurious skin against mine.

Opening my eyes and finally seeing...

Why all the people of my past fell out of line.

Something has been awoken in me..

Sleeping for all these years.

I’ve searched for her wherever she would be..

Then I finally found her in the middle of a sea of tears!

I said , “take this skeleton key to my rusted lock!”

“Be the protector of this heart so torn!”

“Love me like the clock loves to just tick tock!”

“May my soul never again feel so worn!”
