There... Nothing To Do
Poem — Challenge Entry: The Road Drops Here
By K.A. SmithPublished 6 months ago • 1 min read

There... nothing to do.
Fall begins and my
summer just sits.
A sudden emptiness,
in July—
a hollowness picked.
Goodbye to Spring.
Tripping!
For too early— in July.
Every now and then,
the betweens... with snow.
What’s left to do is
wander into sto',
search the glo',
curl slow
into a fetal pose,
and wait.
There... nothing to do.
In July.

Who has nothing to do in the Summer...long walks, sunshine, so much to do.
