A very rich man approached a Zen master to complain: "People say that being rich makes you happy, why am I always depressed?"

The Zen master asked, "Your life is nothing but earning money?"

The rich man nodded his head.

The Zen master asked again, "Are you bored from time to time?"

The rich man nodded again.

Only then did the Zen master slowly say, "In fact, true wealth is not the abundance of money, but spiritual satisfaction.

To put it plainly, these are the words: inner fullness.

Remember a saying: "Life is long, we carry a heavy bag, walking through the mountains and far away, all the way trekking, are looking for the soul of the hometown."

If the heart has a dependence, there is reliance, it will be infinitely full, not for the empty and desolate; if the heart has a way back, people will be infinitely rich, the kind of homecoming happiness, filling the whole soul, there is a sense of peace of mind to return to the roots of the leaves.

01. There is nothing better than happiness-based inner fullness

People are emotional animals.

If the heart is happy, it is full of a sense of happiness, even when the gloom is full of passion, because that heart is always happy.

So where does happiness come from?

From the heart, a positive state of mind, full of sunshine, the world in your eyes like a kaleidoscope, colorful.

If the heart is pandemonium, a mess, and then the sunny days, you will never see a ray of sunlight cast down.

Because your heart is empty and dark, happiness never comes to your heart.
