There is more to summer that meets the eye

Explore the many facets of summer

Perseid meteor debuts in August;

Hundreds race by lighting up the night’s sky.

June hatches tiny sea turtles at dust,

Who await the cool sand to be their eye.

Midnight sun lasts for weeks; summer solstice

Sweden, Finland, Iceland sure benefit.

Goats climb argan trees thirty feet to feast;

To taste Morocco’s fruit, indulge in it .

There is more to summer that meets the eye,

More than warm weather, beaches and sun sets.

Smores at campfire, fireworks fourth of July

Are just parts of the season’s elements .

Winter’s frigid air is soon approaching,

Fall guides when leaves begin transitioning.
