Their burden to bear

Self-inflicting wounds through grave misunderstandings

Interchangeable cycles and thorough examinations

Of something lost in machinations

And terrible old recycled imaginations keep us rugged and bare

Raw and red and trembling

Invited inside

A shambling mess

She cried out in agony

How tragic the tragedy

He took it all

It’s how it had to be

And now the spinners of old lies will realise it’s their time

Because she’s fine

You can’t get to me

It was never there

It was never mine

His is a tired line

A blade sharpened too fine

An ancient tool beyond repair

It’s all collapsing

And she’s fine
