I have never understood
Theater Nerds.
What's so stellar about
Pretending
To be these other people
So then the audience can see?
It sounds stupid.
And then I met someone.
"It may surprise you,
But I'm a Theater Nerd."
I couldn't stop myself.
"Why?" I was laughing.
He looked at me with all
The seriousness in the world.
"Because then I'm someone,
I'm not."
Woah.
"And no one really knows,
Who I really am."
I have an extreme respect for
Theater Nerds.
And this guy later gifted me
A dinosaur.
I realize now,
What's the difference between
A drowning Poet
And a trapped Theater Nerd?
